Simply Green: Bum Boosa

December 7, 2009 Beth 60 Comments

I am excited to introduce you to Bum Boosa. Bum Boosa kindly sent me a complementary package of their wipes and diaper rash treatment.Who is Bum Boosa? (adapted from their About Us)
We recognize that in this changing world, you are becoming more selective about the products you choose for your families and for the planet. We know that you are also thinking proactively about the long-term impacts of your choices. This is what inspired the creation of Bum Boosa™ Bamboo Baby Products. We understand that:
• You want the best and safest ingredients for your baby
• Affordability makes a difference in your choices
• It is critical to have natural, renewable, and biodegradable alternatives

Why is Bum Boosa green and part of Simply Green? (taken from their About Us)
We at Bum Boosa™ Bamboo Baby Products are dedicated to finding more natural ways of living and inventing better, more environmentally-friendly, useful products. It is in this spirit we have brought together a great team to develop products that we know you and your baby will love! Now you can live with convenience and responsibility to mother earth. We are committed to preserving our precious environment through the planting of trees in a partnership with Trees for the Future.

My thoughts about Bum Boosa…
I’ll start with the wipes. The wipes are well wipes in most accounts. I will note that they are scented so if you are like me and normally buy unscented wipes, it might catch you off guard. It took me awhile to get used to the scent on the wipes that comes from them being naturally scented with lavender and sweet orange essential oils. The wipes did a perfectly fine job wiping down babies during diaper changes. I also used them to wipe down mouths and hands that got messy and they were just as effective there!

The diaper rash ointment is in a small tub. The tub is a nice size but I am used to diaper rash ointment in a tube so I had to prepare for diaper changes a bit when using the tub. I think the one tub will last a long time.
These products are a great way to “go green” in the baby areas of your life!

Bum Boosa has offered one of my readers three packages of their wipes and one tub of their diaper rash ointment!

NOTE: I was provided with a complementary package of wipes and tub of diaper rash ointment by Bum Boosa to provide this review. No other compensation was received. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are my own.
