Mamavation Monday: Hanging Out

April 26, 2010 By Beth

It is Mamavation Monday time again! What did I do last week? I got in one work out with the elliptical. Even worse than last week but I realized I probably should have waited since my toe hurt so bad after that work out. I did spend most of Saturday and Sunday in the garden and hurt in areas I didn’t know I had so those count in my opinion!

My challenge this week: I hope to get in a couple of work outs with Squeaky, my elliptical, this week. My toe is thankfully feeling better so I think I should be good for that. This week is crazy busy and I will be moving and lifting and pulling long shifts of standing. I know I will be sore. I always am. It will be good to do all of that and drink my water too though!

Results so far: Simply put I am still stuck. May will bring my big work out routine changes. I am still trying to decide what the change will be. I am wanting to fit in the skort come June so I have some butt to lose between now and then … even if the stupid scale doesn’t budge!;)

So what is next for me? I am hanging out. If I stay steady another week, so be it. I will be happy hanging out another week know that change is coming!
I am still working on the unstuck part and my full plan for May when our schedule drastically changes.

Have an idea to help me get unstuck? Leave me a comment and let me know. I am accepting all ideas.;)

I have an idea to help you get unstuck! 🙂

In the words of Kim @mentallyinked – Drink. More. Water.

You can do it girl! Have fun with Squeaky, drink plenty of water and you'll be unstuck in no time!

    Have a WONDERFUL day!

What is it about this time of year when many of us seem to fall back and take a bit of a break from things? Is it the change to Spring? I'm not sure, but I guarantee you aren't the only one girl. My weight's been stagnant for an entire month, but that's mostly because of my running escapades. Hang in there girly. Maybe try and do some exercise outside? I know i have to get off my machine sometimes.

unstuck? Maybe try something new…whether it is a new workout or a new healthy recipe…maybe switching it up will get you where you want to go.

When your hubby's schedule changes see if you can set some time to do some cardio intervals… even at a track. Interval training will help shave some junk off the trunk and get you in a skort with some sexy legs. Have fun researching what to do when the schedule change happens. almost like a toy race car revving to be set free.

Yes, you need a change from your routine. Tweet at me for suggestions. There are like 50,000 gazillion DVDs to choose from. Have you ever considered getting Netflex…there are a bunch of girls who joined that just for the exercise DVDs.
