Mamavation Monday: Keeping At It

April 5, 2010 By Beth

It is Mamavation Monday time again! What did I do last week? I got in four work outs with the elliptical. I did really good keeping my speed up and was doing that without even noticing. I did some garden digging too and have a blister on my hand to prove it.=P

My challenge this week: I plan to get work out with Squeaky, my elliptical, this week three to four times. I am going up the resistance this week. There will also be more garden digging as I need to finish weeding before I can get the mulch out. All good calorie burning activities!

Results so far: I am down 0 lbs since last Monday. I am stuck. I worked my butt off last week and was really hoping to see that scale move. I know what I am doing is working though since smaller clothes are fitting and the fact I walked down and back up our back hill carrying little dude without even noticing it. That hill has a killer incline down the creek and generally took everything in me so it was great to do that walk so easily!

If you're noticing a difference in your clothes and when you hike with a child, then WAY TO GO! That's awesome! Keep it up and that mean scale will move for ya!

If anything take some comfort in the fact that you are getting stronger. Keep it up and don't give up. You are worth it. XXOO

You are not stuck, you are being consistent on Mr. Squeakaton and will break through your plateau with exercise and healthy diet.
