Mamavation Monday

August 30, 2010 By Beth

It is Mamavation Monday time again! Sorry this post is late but I spent the day on travel for work …Last week, I got in a few bike rides. That was good for me … especially on Friday when I didn’t care but did it anyway! I was down half a pound on Friday morning. Of course this past weekend, I blew that away with Grace’s birthday celebrating but I am working it this week. If I don’t loose this week, I know why!

My husband and I decided we need to work out together again so we will be working on a morning workout plan. I can then get bike time in the evenings as I read or watch half an hour of TV. I feel motivated again which is good. Of course my motivation right now is a prize I put out there danging in front of my nose. I gave myself of goal to get to a zero number. (11.5 pounds away as of Friday). Once I get to my immediate goal number, I get to gift myself a mani and a pedi. Seeing our budget of late, this is a big deal. This used to be an often treat to myself pre-kids but well our budget doesn’t allow for that. I now feel like I am on a mission to get to that relaxing experience so let the mission begin!

Keep leaving me comments and telling me to move my butt. I am really going to work on that this week!

Sounds like a good plan and I know you can get moving

I love your plan to reward yourself with some pampering when you reach a weight-loss goal! And to work out an exercise plan with your husband. I have been completely unsuccessful in getting my husband to exercise with me, so I'm always encouraged by hearing about others who can accomplish that!
