Mamavation Monday: Homework

August 2, 2010 By Beth

It is Mamavation Monday time again! What did I do last week? more nothing. If I let the blame game continue. I blame homework. I was behind in my summer session graduate classes. Last week, I did ten homework assignments. (One of my classes has 2 assignments due every 2-3 days!) My vacation didn’t help. At any rate, I am almost caught up. Classes end in two weeks just isn’t soon enough. I know this all on me and I need to find time for me but I also have to balance my life which has been a huge challenge this semester.

My challenge this week: My husband kicked me out of the bed this morning to get on the bike. So my goal this week is to get on the bike in the morning. Since I am still catching up on my homework and working a massive assignment, I know that will be my limit.

Results so far: Vacation eating didn’t kill me. I am flat lined … no loss, no gain. I need to see that scale move though.

Leave me a comment and tell me to move my butt. I need a kick in the butt! I have a bridesmaid dress to fit in this spring at my sister’s wedding. ACK!

You have to move it, move it… LOL! Actually getting on your bike each am will help you in school – seriously it's true – it'll help wake up your mind and you'll concentrate better and get those assignments done faster leaving you more time to… Move it!
    Have a great week!

School can get in the way of working out and our wellness – if we let it. I found that if I schedule the time to workout, then I'm more likely to do it. This especially works when I am in school because it's like another class in there!

    Have a great week

Hey get moving!! 🙂 I am terrible about making excuses, or just not doing it. I know my body is not going to get healthier by doing that! I totally like MMScarlett's idea of making a workout schedule! I might just go make one too!

Hey girl get that booty moving! If you need to read try getting on your bike and reading. I did this with my elliptcal one day and the time just seemed to fly by.

Get on that bike and go as if your life depended on it…lol! 20-30 minutes at least. You might even be more productive with that homework afterward.

What I would do is choose what is most important in your healthy living routine. You can do that. You don't have to do everything at once all the time. Sometimes it's about priorities.

I know you can do this! You know how I know this is because you are taking those steps right now! One bad week will not turn into two unless you let it!
