E-Mealz: Meal Planning Solution

October 18, 2011 By Beth

Details …

The ultimate goal of E-Mealz and their core belief is reflected in their organization, Make Time For Family (maketimeforfamily.org), through which publish articles. Jane and Jenny have found that parents fall into two categories:

1) Those who did not grow up with family dinnertime and therefore don’t have a vision for what it can be, or
2) Those who did grow up with family dinnertime, but since current lifestyles are so busy and fragmented, struggle to duplicate their childhood experience and pull it off for their own families.

Our goal through maketimeforfamily.org is to inspire women and men with a vision to do something transcendent in their family’s life.

How Does It Work?

You choose the store. We provide the plan! Each week you will receive a brand new plan with a complete grocery list organized by sections. Each meal plan is ONLY $1.25 per week!!

Our Thoughts …

So you may be asking why we agreed to feature E-Mealz here when we do a Monthly Meal Plan here at Simply Budgeted. We decided to do this review with giveaway because we know that the monthly meal plan isn’t for every family AND that some times you have to start small. So we hope that you will see this as a way to introduce your family to meal planning. This is a great way to no only save money in your budget but calories from your diet because a meal at home is better than a meal out for sure!

What do we love about E-Mealz? We love that isn’t a one size fits all solution! You can have options based on where you shop and even what is on your menu such as on a budget, on a diet, meals for picky families and even meals for ONE or TWO!! We used to be a couple and know how hard it can be to cook for two!

We are excited to offer a giveaway for a THREE month subscription to E-Mealz to one of our readers!

I meal plan weekly, but I’d love to give this a try.

A meal plan would, honestly, make me a better mom and wife! I know that sounds a little dramatic, but if I didn’t have to go through the “What’s for breakfast/dinner/lunch?” routine everyday I would have more time to spend with my family. There wouldn’t be meltdowns at the grocery store because I can’t figure out what to get. There would be less food waste, which means less $ waste. I think meal-planning is genius and I would really love to jump on board with that!
