Life after Pregnancy

February 13, 2012 By Beth Leave a Comment

Three pregnancies in a row, we are certainly done. Even though we are done, there is life after pregnancies. Some of the “afters” warnings you might get from your girlfriends or moms.

One of my warnings was hair loss in women after having a baby.  Yeah, all of those beautiful locks that you gain while pregnant disappear. I already have thick hair so thicker hair was really crazy and sure enough I lost a bunch after baby one … then baby two … and baby three. I thought at some point that maybe the trend would stop but it didn’t. Some days I feel like I am still losing hair from those pregnancies and my little dude is 2.5 years old.

One warning I missed was illness. I seriously think I am ill more than my kids are. Every time they encounter a kid that is half sick, I get sick. I am so happy they aren’t sick but at the same time, I am tired of being sick. I know this is in part due to the fact that I am still lacking sleep as I try to fit more and more into my days. I also know that when I eat better I feel better but as every mom, we are on the go here a lot. It doesn’t help I get better faster when I rest and there is no time take a sick day around here!

What warnings did you get for life after pregnancy? What warnings would you give other moms? Leave us a comment and let us know!
