I already headed over the Hershey’s Facebook page to declare my Sweet Independence from this summer. What was my declaration?
I am declaring my Sweet Independence from my garden. I seriously love my garden but it has been a hard summer schedule-wise for me. The weeds and I are in a battle but I have decided that if the heat tells me to not worry about the weeds that I will ignore them as I walk by to the car. That is a really hard step for me as I want to pull them as I walk by!
So while the weeds in the garden bake in the 100+ degree tempatures (maybe it will kill them?!), I will sit inside in the air conditioning eating a Hershey’s Simple Pleasures with the oh so yummy creme filling … see?!
