Elf on the Shelf 2012: Day 15

December 9, 2012 By Beth Leave a Comment

So the kids were at Grandma and Grandpa’s house last night since I had a work holiday party. We were off the hook on Elf duty … kinda. We went to breakfast and then church then were off to claim to the kids. We got to the end of the street before Brian realized we realized the darn Elf on the Shelf. We both knew we HAD to turn around but still questioned the ridiculousness of this whole effort. It took us seven minutes to get pictures for the Day 14 post then find a new spot and get a Day 15 pictures. Seven minutes!!!!

It was a good thing we turned around because the second … and I mean EXACT second Grace made it in the front door she as saying “where is Kingston? Where is he?” Really, child?! Really?!

We decided that Kingston needed a nap so he is chilling in the dining room light.

The girls have been back downstairs four times already since we put them to bed. FOUR TIMES. If they ever get to sleep, I will figure out where I can put this Elf on the Shelf for another night. I need to starting thinking ahead for Sophie’s Birthday on Tuesday. I don’t know how I will top last year. Any ideas? Let me know!
