We decided to try to get tricky and move to our Elf on the Shelf in a place where he was mostly covered. The girls decided he was sleeping like a baby since he was all swaddled in the scarf that hangs in the living room. This was a bit risky as the kids could stand on the chair and touch him if they wanted but they didn’t!! 
I tried to claim he was tired and napping but the kids decided he was cold. Why can’t he nap? Someone around here should nap since it is never me! oh well … here is our Elf on the Shelf today …
