I thought Kingston, our Elf on the Shelf, should say goodbye. Sounds good right? Well I went all out … or so I thought. I … Kingston wrote on the mirror.
Dear gosh that was impossible to photograph! His note said “Be good! I will miss you. See you next year! Love, Kingston”
Nice, right? Well apparently the Elf on the Shelf parenting fails continue …
- Grace said Kingston brought them presents last year. She told Brian where the were and all this stuff about them. HUH? WHAT? I don’t remember this. I see a mention in the last post from last year of presents but I didn’t write what we did. Darn it. Now I must figure this out.
- Sophie then decided to argue with me on if I wrote the note on the mirror. Why now, Sophie? Why?!
I put him away already. I am done. Done. DONE. I think this year I can do a top ten list of parenting fails based on this year’s Elf on the Shelf. ugh. It is all good until next year, right? Maybe I will forget all of this and actually remember the darn Elf on the Shelf’s name unlike this year (parenting fail #1 this year).
