Elf on the Shelf 2012: Day 10

December 4, 2012 By Beth Leave a Comment

Brian said he would move the Elf on the Shelf, Kingston, after Sophie went to bed. We went to bed and didn’t move the elf. I remembered this as I was falling asleep so I jumped out of bed. I didn’t know where to put Kingston. I ran to the kitchen and decided to put him on top of the fridge … on top of the fruit roll-ups box to be exact. I went to sleep.

Brian decided to add magic and threw fruit roll-ups on the floor in the kitchen before Grace got home from school for snack time. The kids thought this was grand.

Then the crisis came. Brian slammed the freezer drawer shut and Kingston FELL OFF THE FRIDGE!!! We stared at each other then went into action. Brian ushered the kids out the dining room and I put Kingston back. They didn’t notice. Thank freakin’ goodness!!

I made Brian relocate the Elf on the Shelf tonight. I think I am done for the week. I can’t handle more drama!

Where is your Elf on the Shelf? At this point, I will be surprised if Elf on the Shelf makes it to next year!!
