Mamavation Friday … keep it up!

Well there isn’t a Mamavation Friday post but I am making one.=P

Today is day 6 of the no soda challenge and I am making it! GO ME! Oh there are times I want that soda (like last night when the kids took my last nerve) but I didn’t give in to that urge.
My crazy husband actually offered me a soda the other night when I hit my limit but I told him no and told him he couldn’t have one either! =P Remember, I said he is my kick in the butt and I am his “you don’t need that” nagger. Seriously that is how it works.

I have to keep this going so after some nudging I ordered the 30 Day Shred with Jillian Michaels. (I ordered from Overstock so that is why I used that link.) I know it is going to kick my …. umm, butt. I know it but I am ready for it. I informed my husband he will be shredding with me. I have no idea what that really means but we are in this together so here we go!

I wanted to offer a little tip that we do from time to time but are going to be doing more and more. We take a package or two of chicken breasts and roast them all with just a little seasoning. You then have a great basis for healthy meals. One of my all time favorites is to cut some up and put it on top of a veggie filled salad. mmmmm. This makes it so easy to add a healthy meat to your meals.

    I can't seem to kick the soda habit but i am down to only one a day (caffeine free diet coke)

    Great job!! Day 6 of this week's challenge and you are doing really good with no soda pop. I look forward to seeing what you come up with next week! My big challenge this week has been still having too much lag time between eating calories through the day. I need to push myself to do better.
