The kids pick out their clothes for school the night before and leave them downstairs. On Wednesday night, Sophie had picked out a skirt and short sleeved shirt that didn’t match but whatever. Hopefully by now, her preschool teachers have realized that she picks out her own clothes! Thursday morning starts off normal and she gets dressed. She then comes and asks “Can I wear a long sleeved shirt? Some kids at school have been wearing long sleeved shirts.” I told her sure and to put her short sleeve shirt away since it wasn’t dirty.
She picked out her pretty purple zebra shirt and wore it to school. She came home from school and all was good. About two hours later, she comes up to Brian beyond proud of herself and what she did.
His conversation to me went …
Brian: ummmmOMG!!!!me: what?Brian: sophie just CUT off the sleeves of her zebra shirt!!me: WHAT?!Brian: she was so proud of herself….me: where did she find scissors?????Brian: look daddy, I made it short sleeved…where didn’t she find scissors
