Details …

Relive the adventure and magic in one of the most beloved motion pictures of all-time, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, from Academy Award-winning director Steven Spielberg. Captivating audiences of all ages, this timeless story follows the unforgettable journey of a lost alien and the 10-year-old boy he befriends. Join Elliot (Henry Thomas), Gertie (Drew Barrymore) and Michael (Robert MacNaughton) as they come together to help E.T. find his way back home. Now digitally remastered with enhanced picture and sound for its 30th Anniversary, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial is one of the great American films (Leonard Maltin) that forever belongs in the hearts and minds of audiences everywhere.

Our Thoughts …

I was really excited to hear that E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial was being re-released. This is a movie I remember watching multiple times as a kid. When we told the kids we were having a movie night, they were all excited and ran to the movie cabinet to fight over who was picking. They were suprised when I told that I was picking and showed them the movie. Grace was trying to figure out what the movie was when I told her it was a movie that mommy and daddy watch when we were little. That of course made it old but she was OK with that and wanted to see the movie. So blanket and pillows and popcorn spread out everywhere, we started the movie night.

The movie started and the kids kept asking if it was night time the whole time in the movie. This left Brian and I laughing as we understood the question but they wouldn’t stop asking no matter what answer we gave them. Sophie dozed off but Matthew and Grace really loved watching E.T. make messes around the house and hide in the stuffed animals. I am waiting to find Matthew’s face sticking out from a pile of stuffed animals now he saw that in the movie!

We really enjoyed watching the movie again. I was sure if the kids would enjoy it but they really did enjoy the movie.

You can find this Blu-Ray + DVD + Digital Copy of E.T. available on Amazon for a great price right now!
