I went easy and hid our Elf on the Shelf, Kingston, in the tinsel ball that hangs by the screen in our dining room.
It was an easy place to hide him but I think it was success because it took the kids awhile to find him but not too long. If they take too long to find Kingston, I just want to scream where he is so they stop bothering me … I know that isn’t the best elf parent attitude but you can only take the questioning so long!!

Too cute. The last 2 mornings Dash, our elf, has hidden in some harder spots making the kids search more than normal. It’s fun to see them try to figure out different places he might be. Although, I think tomorrow’s is going to be an easy find but it’s going to be Big!
