Kissimmee Dreams About to Come True for One Family

Can you believe it?  One family is about to have their vacation dreams answered.  They are about to win not one, but 10 vacations to Kissimmee, FL to experience all that the area has to offer.  How incredible would it be to know that your family’s summer vacation is paid for for the next 10 years?  For one lucky family, it will be!

Back in February, Osceola County started the Decade of Kissimmee Memories contest.  Contestants entered essays telling judges what they would do with a decade of vacations to Kissimmee.  The top 25 contestants were then invited to submit videos, which were judged down to five finalists.  Now it’s your turn!  The videos submitted by the five are now open for public voting on Facebook.  The video with the most votes wins.  You can be a part of helping one of these families win a Decade of Memories.  Just to sweeten the pot for you a little, each vote also qualifies you to enter into a $500 gift card!  Remember, voting ends June 10!  The winner will be announced on June 11.

I wish I had heard about this contest back in February.  I would love to watch the kids grow up with vacations down to Kissimmee every year.  Thanks to A Daily Dose of Toni, though, I get to head down to Kissimmee with the finalists this weekend to experience what Kissimmee has to offer.  Since I have never been there before, I am very excited at this opportunity and at the opportunity to share my experiences with all of you.  Maybe I’ll find some things to do when we do finally head down with the kids!

Just imagine taking your family on a hot air balloon ride, floating through the air and watching the seemingly endless landscape.  Or maybe you could float along the water on an airboat and see the landscape up close.  Just look out for the gators!

Maybe you could just watch the gators from behind the safety of a great big fence!

After a day of outdoor adventuring, maybe you could take in a show.  I’m sure that my girls would love to watch this princess in action and Matthew would get a kick out of seeing the horse do it’s thing.
