Chuggington: Let’s Ride the Rails

April 5, 2011 By Beth 3 Comments

I recently had the chance to receive a copy of Chuggington: Let’s Ride the Rails.

Details …
They’re trainees! They’re making tracks! Wheels to the rails! Clackety-clack! Honk your horns for the new worldwide hit television series about eager young engines Wilson, Brewster and Koko as they learn to become working trains in the land of Chuggington. In these six popular episodes, the trainees find fun and excitement as they get lost in a deserted town, handle an important responsibility in the safari park, and discover that the repair shed isn’t such a scary place after all. There’s plenty of action and laughs along the way with lessons about overcoming fear, responsibility and problem solving, all while discovering social-readiness values like friendship, teamwork, courtesy and more. As the trains, and your own little chuggers, practice their skills and complete daily tasks, they learn to ride the rails of life!

My Thoughts …
My Little Dude was so excited to see this DVD when we got it. He was at home with me while my husband had the girls. Now my Little Dude is pretty used to watching Princess movies and Dora since he does have two big sister but Chuggington is one of his favorite shows on Disney Channel. So when he saw a box with the picture, he was excited. My girls came home shortly after I had put this DVD in and they sat right down to watch the shows with their brother. So while they love their Princesses, they aren’t against a train as the love the choo-choo noises trains make!

The shows on the DVD are just like the ones on the Disney Channel. I honestly don’t know if they are same ones since I am rarely home when Chuggington is on in the morning. I do know these ones are cute and if you have a train or Chuggington lover in your house, this would be a great addition to your DVD collection. Or maybe you have a little boy who is tired of Princess and Dora DVDs and could use a DVD that doesn’t scream girl to watch with his sisters!;)
You can buy this DVD on Amazon! If you are looking for a a great item for an Easter basket, maybe this is it!!

Psst … the NEW Chuggington movie Chuggington: Chuggers to the Rescue came out TODAY! Be sure to check that one out too!

NOTE:I was sent a copy of this DVD in support this review. No other compensation was received. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are my own.
