What is the Gunnar Challenge?

In just 8 short weeks you’ll push yourself farther than you ever thought possible, work towards the body you’ve only dreamed of and reap the rewards of a healthier, more confident you.

My Week 6 Check-in

So this week has been interesting. My class has left me very frustrated so I took a break from my routines. My exercise became working in the flower garden. I learner I have muscles in my upper legs and shoulders that I had forgotten I have had. I did watch what I ate but I didn’t focus on putting it in the diary. I know I ate a few too many zucchini brownies by convincing myself the zucchini part outweighed the brownie part. Haha At any rate, I am down 0.2 pounds from last week which is still up from two weeks ago but a step in the direction!  Seeing how I did this week, I am pleased though. My goals for next week are to get my head back in the game and to not eat too much on the 4th of July!

Watch for my weekly check-ins as I keep working my way through the Gunnar Challenge! Also be sure to cheer on Tara at MommyHeadAdventures.com and Megan at WeightLossMother.com as they are participating in this challenge too!

I am still hoping some of you have a favorite low-calorie recipe you can share with me. Leave me a comment to let me know those recipes or recipe sources!!

I recently discovered some cookbooks by Marlene Koch, that use Splenda instead of sugar. The recipes are low-calorie, and every one I’ve tried tastes great! Cookies, brownies, breads, drinks, side dishes…she has everything!
