Our Thoughts …
Since the new year when we tried out a Paleo diet plan, we have been reading the ingredient labels so much more than we used. We often read labels but we didn’t always read the ingredients for some of the kids favorite snacks. With Valentine’s coming up, we were in search of a treat for the kids that wasn’t candy or junk food. We were excited to find Stretch Island Fruit Company Fruit Strips! We were sent a sample of the Ripened Raspberry variety! The ingredients list on the back of the package are apple puree concentrate, pear puree concentrate, raspberry puree, lemon juice concentrate. I can say all of those words plus I know all of the ingredients in their raw form. How great is that?! The kids love fruit snacks but so many of them have very little fruit in them so I know they will be excited to find these in their Valentine’s cards next to their stickers.
