Mamavation Monday: Stalled Out

January 31, 2011 By Beth

It is Mamavation Monday time again!
The EA Sports Active Challenge too started on Jan 7th with EA Sports Active 2.My workouts last week started good and ended bad. I got my first workout in on schedule on Monday. Tuesday I got ready to work out and got sicker and sicker as the day went on … it wasn’t good. Wednesday I started feel better but decided not to push it as my schedule right now is to rough to be sick. I then didn’t get back on the work out schedule. Total fail on my part.

This week is the first check-in of the work “Biggest Loser” challenge. The new scale is great for this because it has that nice decimal point and I am not left guessing as I did with my old scale.
Results this week … a big fat zero percentage weight loss as my weight was exactly the same. I was sure I had lost but when I opened my spreadsheet this morning, today’s number was the exact same as last week’s number. No lie. What? ugh.

My schedule this week isn’t good to be honest. I am facing a lot of deadlines (three today alone) which makes my time very limited. Last week my time where I would do my workouts went to my family and it became time with my kids. My kids needed that and so did I … I need to figure out a balance. I am not sure if I will pick up my EA Sports Active 2 challenge this week … I need to figure that out and I will report back next as I want to report a I lost percentage next week despite my crazy deadlines this week!

Getting sick always throws a wrench into the workout, for me anyway. Best is to jump back into it while listening to your body so you don't injure yourself.

Getting sick always screws up scheduling.
If the number on the scale is the same, you didn't lose, but you didn't GAIN either. Hope this week goes smoothly with all the dealines and germies!

I hope you have a better week energy wise and feel some metric of success. Getting sick is no fun.

Oh, I feel ya! Despite good intentions to start this week out strong I am fighting a stomach bug which is wiping me out!

I hope you feel better and can get back into the swing of things. Speaking of the EASactive challenge, do you know if we can restart or reset the program? I really want to give it my all, but haven't had a chance yet.

Have a great week! I can't wait to hear how much better this week was for ya.
