Grace didn’t have school on Monday so Brian took the kids to see his parents. They went to the mall since it was too cold to play outside. The mall had a carousel. I am not sure how Grandma was nominated to ride while Grandpa took picture but here are a few pictures he took.

Carousels are the best. For a while my daughhter would only ride on the bench. she’d never get on an animal. She’s better now. 🙂

Wonderful carousel. That’s an experience I remember fondly from childhood. I’m glad to see they’re still around in the 21st century; I’ve been concerned that too much of kids’ experience of the outside world will come only over the Internet. It’s good to know a new generation (some members of it, at least) are getting to ride on a merry-go-round. May they continue to flourish forever!
