This is Happiness …

Some days you actually get to create the gift of happiness. This was Grace showing off her Tooth Fairy pillow that I made over the weekend. She is one excited little girl. (Tutorial to come!)

Have you had the opportunity to create the gift of happiness lately? What did you do? Leave me a comment and let me know!

Wordless Wednesday: Sophie and my iPhone

Sophie was playing games on my phone the other night. I saw her … all was good. I sure did laugh when I found this and several other pictures of her on my phone though …

I love you ,my Sophie girl!

Wordless Wednesday: Cupcakes

Grace finally had her friend birthday party on Saturday. She insisted on using the Betty Crocker Shake N Pour cupcakes for her party. When she picked the Barbie themed party decorations, I decided the cake stand in the giveaway gift pack was a great fit. (Psst, the giveaway is still live so go enter!)

We went to the apple orchard and did other fun stuff (like clean) over the weekend but there were no pictures. We enjoyed the apples and mountains and didn’t bother with pictures which was amazing!

Hope you are having a great week at your house!

Wordless Wednesday: Kings Dominion

We had the opportunity to take the kids to Kings Dominion recently. My brother came along so we equal in the adult to kid ratio. It was a great day of fun!

What fun have you been having lately? Leave us a comment and let us know!

Wordless Wednesday: Mud … Tough Mud … Tough Mudder

Brian participated in the Tough Mudder in Maryland on Saturday. This the picture he sent me to my phone after the race.

Thankfully he was slightly cleaner when he got home … oh and the goatee is finally gone!!;)

Do you enjoy the mud races or do think these guys are nuts? Leave us a comment and let us know!

Wordless Wednesday: First Day of Preschool

Yesterday, Sophie and Matthew started preschool. Sophie is a half day transitional Kindergarten program that meets 5 days a week. Matthew is in a half day program that meets 2 days a week for three year olds. Sophie beyond excited … Matthew not so much.

Sophie likes to do her own hair. Brian likes to celebrate the independence she shows and lets her. I cringe but smile at her cuteness!

Has school started where you are? We hope the school is off to a great start in your area!

Wordless Wednesday: 6th Birthday for Grace

Grace’s 6th Birthday was last Friday. She had a little family party the week before at my parent’s house where she picked a Hello Kitty theme.

Cake by Chamber’s Cakery!

We ordered her birthday cake from Sam’s Club so we get a full sheet cake to share at a church dinner. Plus I ordered her Hello Kitty cupcakes to take to school since they have a new “must be store bought” rule.

Grace is excited to be 6 … what will this year bring for our little 6 year old? Only time will tell …

Wordless Wednesday: Vacation Playground Time

These pictures are at Jellystone Park Yogi Bear’s Natural Bridge, Virginia location.

We hope your summer is lots of fun!

Wordless Wednesday: The Fair

We went to the county fair last week and the kids actually got into riding rides this year. It just about broke our wallet but they had a lot of fun. Next year, I will buy the ride arm bands in advance!

We hope you are having a great summer where you live!

Wordless Wednesday: Peach Milkshake Season

The added bonus to supporting our local Chick-fil-A franchise over the weekend … Peach Milkshake Season!

One of Brian’s favorite responses to “How are you doing?” is “Just peachy” … hope your day is “Just peachy!
